In Pasadena ISD, education is more than academics.
Safety and Student Well‑Being
Creating safe and supportive schools is foundational to the Pasadena ISD experience. We are committed to practices that protect students and give families confidence in the environments where learning happens every day.
At Pasadena ISD elementary schools, student safety is supported through presence, preparation, and meaningful relationships. The Guardian Program is implemented at every elementary campus to provide an added layer of age appropriate security and reassurance for students and families.
Guardians are trained district staff who work closely with campus leadership, counselors, and the Pasadena ISD Police Department to help create calm, well supervised learning environments where students feel safe and supported.
Guardians support the student experience by:
- Maintaining a visible and reassuring presence on campus
- Supporting secure access and monitoring shared spaces
- Partnering with campus staff and Pasadena ISD Police
- Promoting a positive and orderly school climate
- Identifying and reporting safety or student support concerns

Pasadena ISD provides a supportive safety experience for students, families, and community members through Anonymous Alerts, a secure reporting tool that helps address concerns and prevent bullying. This service allows individuals to share information safely and confidentially to support student well being and campus safety.
